Condition

From a collector, never played with. Don't balk at the starting price each item sold separately loose would start at R125 usually. I am going to The Model Rail Expo in Kempton Park 1/2 October. The current auction may be your only chance to bid on this item as if it doesn't sell now it will very likely move at the expo.

REMEMBER:  Märklin uses an AC system and as such does not insulate their wheels. Running this on a DC system without swapping wheels for insulated type will cause a short across rails.

Regarding price

Thanks to the ever depreciating value of the Rand these items are becoming harder to locate at a reasonable price. The cost to import is increasing almost daily. If you want it, buy it because next time around it may be twice the price.
