As pictured. Nice oldschool solid item, metal chassis with spring linked couplers. Lettering along chassis, side lettering embossed but not painted. One grab rail missing (based on the fact there are grab rolls on other three corners. Buffers are metal, item has a decent weight.

REMEMBER:  Märklin uses an AC system and as such does not insulate their wheels. Running this on a DC system without swapping wheels for insulated type will cause a short across rails.

Regarding price

Thanks to the ever depreciating value of the Rand these items are becoming harder to locate at a reasonable price. The cost to import is increasing almost daily. If you want it, buy it because next time around it may be twice the price.
