Condition

As pictured. Nice oldschool solid item, metal chassis with spring linked couplers. No missing bits, a bit dirty, all lettering appears to be present although side board is somewhat worn. 

REMEMBER:  Märklin uses an AC system and as such does not insulate their wheels. Running this on a DC system without swapping wheels for insulated type will cause a short across rails.

Regarding price

Thanks to the ever depreciating value of the Rand these items are becoming harder to locate at a reasonable price. The cost to import is increasing almost daily. If you want it, buy it because next time around it may be twice the price.
