M10X1(F) INLINE COTTON FILTER KIT FOR HANDPUMP

This is a nifty little upgrade / replacement for your PCP handpump.  The purpose of this part is to filter out microbial and fine synthetic matter that might otherwise be entering the intended HPA recepticle via the handpump. In conjunction with this, you'll need to have a humidity / moisture absorption method on your handpump, that will capture any water molecules attempting to pass through to the recepticle being filled. This way, you'll be filling with both clean AND dry air, which is ideal.

The enclosure is aluminium, w/ a blue dye anodizing. Its shell is hexagonally shaped for manipulation w/ a spanner or adjustable wrench. Both openings are female threaded, specifically 1/8" BSP and there are seats / grooves for the included o-rings to fit onto. Just take care when installing, that the O-ring doesn't unseat and ends up getting squished as you tighten the housing down.

In tandem with this filtration system, you'll need (as illustrated);

• FEMALE Q/C X 1/8" BSP MALE THREADING
• 500MM SHIELDED HIGH PRESSURE HOSE, 1/8" BSP MALE

Included here, you'll receive;

• 2x HNBR O-rings, ID: 8.50mm, Cross section: 1.5mm
• 1x Blue-dyed aluminium filter housing (48mm (L) x 14.8mm (W) - Use a metric sized 15 spanner to toggle this housing, though because these lower priced Chinese imports aren't always up to specification, we recommend using an adjustable wrench, to avoid causing unintended damage.
• 5x Cotton filter buds, 8.60mmø x 30mm

All of this of course, packaged in a resealable small bag.

In terms of tools needed, We usually recommend one appropriate spanner and an adjustable wrench. A benchvice w/ wooden / soft jaws, is normally recommended, as this can help you to work more precise and avoid unintended cross-threading.
