This is a nifty little upgrade / replacement for your PCP handpump. The purpose of this part is to filter out microbial and fine synthetic matter that might otherwise be entering the intended HPA recepticle via the handpump. In conjunction with this, you'll need to have a humidity / moisture absorption method on your handpump, that will capture any water molecules attempting to pass through to the recepticle being filled. This way, you'll be filling with both clean AND dry air, which is ideal. The enclosure is aluminium, w/ a blue dye anodizing. Its shell is hexagonally shaped for manipulation w/ a spanner or adjustable wrench. Both openings are female threaded, specifically 1/8" BSP and there are seats / grooves for the included o-rings to fit onto. Just take care when installing, that the O-ring doesn't unseat and ends up getting squished as you tighten the housing down.
