Now, I bought this Macbook in London so the power cable I'm shipping it with is a UK plug, but I am including a universal adapter. The cable has some black tape around it but it is in perfect working order.
The Macbook is 2 years old, so there are some minor issues:
The battery has had over 600 cycles, so it is completely flat, and you need to be plugged in at all times. This can easily be fixed by buying a new battery.
The screen is quite dim compared the newer macs on the market, so you will have trouble seeing it in highly lit areas, especially if facing natural light. I usually sit in a darker area or face a wall when I'm using the mac. This is just down to its age. There are no dead pixels.
There is also some case damage, There are minor scuff and scratch marks on the outside and inside (as indicated by the red circles on the pictures, although the marks arent visible on the pictures because of the light in the room. There is also a crack on the edge of the screen casing on the left, but this has been repaired and doesnt affect the mac at all.
Lastly, there is sometimes a buzzing sound coming from the mac. It has had the noise for over a year. All it is is the fan. The wire that sits above the fan sometimes loosens from its tape and rattles a bit. But both fans work perfectly.
All in all she is a bit of an older bird but has never left me down, doesnt crash and the only thing I've ever taken it in for is a cleaning. A perfect machine for any mac-user or first-timer.
No refunds or time-wasters please.
