The high quality extension ring set offers an economical solution for taking close-up photos with a standard lens. By inserting one to three extension rings between camera and lens, the distance to the film or sensor can be increased, which results in greater magnification. Extension rings change the focal length without adding optical components which degrade image quality. The image quality depends on the lenses used.

All settings have to be adjusted manually, there are no electrical contacts in the ring set.

The first ring is mounted to the bayonet mount of the camera. Ring #2, #3 and #4 are used for extension, while the last ring connects to the lens. The use of a tripod is recommended.
