A plate commemorating Halley's Comet passing close to the earth in 1986. This plate was produced in a limited edition by the Heritage Porcelain group, and this one was specially issued to a Ms Gwendoline Thursfield with the number 0684. It is also rimmed around with gold.

It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration, and measures 24.5cm in diameter.
