An intriguing perspective, as Sol T Plaatje kept a diary during the siege of Mafeking. 
Interesting day to day events, including death, destruction and an otherwise normal existence 
within (and sometimes outside of), a town desperately awaiting relief forces from Kimberley. 

Book and cover in a Vgood age related (tight binding and mostly v clean pages) condition. 
Various marks and underlining appear mainly towards the end of the book, but in no way 
hinder the readability of this fascinating account. Usual shelf rubbing to dustjacket. (kindly refer
to the the photographs). 

It is due to these otherwise insignificant markings, that this book is offered at such a good price.
