Magic Diaper Babies were originally sold in the early 90s.  When they were new their diapers turned pink or blue in ice water, telling whether they were girls or boys.  There were many different diaper babies produced, including babies, pets, pals, angels, mermaids and dinosaurs. www.ghostofthedoll.co.uk/Toys_MagicDiaper.htm is a good place to find information about Magic Diaper Babies and the various different ones that were produced.

This diaper baby comes from the Baby Boom game.  These babies are similar to the 'Round of the World babies, except that they have coloured diapers.
