Q: How much weight can be levitated?
A: The device can levitate up to 500g however between 1 - 400g is recommended.


Q: Does the platform require power to levitate the display disk?
A: Yes, power is required for levitation and rotation. Should the power fail the disk will fall.

Q: Does the platform contain backup batteries?
A: No the device does not support batteries of any kind and only runs off the DC power adapter provided.

Q: How do I set the magnetic disc?
A: A plastic guide is included. You simply place the guide in the groove on the platform and drop the disc into the guide and then gently touch the top of the disc to stabilise. It is also possible to set the disc by hand.

Q: How stable is the display disc once levitated?
A: This model is significantly more stable than cheap models however care must still be taken when placing the display item onto the disc. Once in operation the disc and/or display items should not be touched.

Q: Can I control the speed of the rotation?
A: No. The rotation speed is automatic and can’t be adjusted or turned off.

Q: How do I turn the backlight on and off?
A: There is a touch switch on the platform on the side opposite the power input.

Q: Can I display any item under 500g on the disk?
A: No. Although the device is capable of supporting up to 500g, the balance of the item on display needs to be reasonably even. An item which is heavy to one side will cause a speed wobble or may be impossible to levitate at all.

Q: Is it safe to put metal object on the display?
A: It is not recommended to put items which contain a lot of ferrous metals on display due to the numerous magnetic fields required to achieve levitation.
