MAGNIFICENT HAND KNOTTED HUGE 343X252 TURKMEN CARPET FROM TURKMENISTAN REDS, INK FLORAL WOW!!!!

Magnificent that is all I have to say.  I regard as very large, some

would say huge. I have not measured but taken the measurements

off the tagged piece and is  343cm by 252cm and this normally

excludes the fringes. Due to the size and weight of piece I am battling

to handle it. The carpet was placed over the road curb, please bear

that in mind.  The only thing to mention which maybe to some significant

is that the carpet appears to have been exposed to the sun on the one

 corner side and has colour changes there. More like sun than abrash

(colour dye changes, which are common in tribal pieces). If you brush

this area in one way it is less obvious. The carpet is rich & vibrant and

seems to change depending on the angle viewed at. Wow!!

It was originally priced at R43800.00.  It has the look of a Khal Mahomadi

due to these being influenced by Turkmen

Please note how the curb changes the colour of piece. Also observe

the right corner.  Not major but mentioning so no surprises
