AND TURQUOISE BOHO RING. BIG AND BOLD!
A gorgeous piece for a lover of turquoise! Big and bold and domed, this is not a piece for the faint of heart! Two-tiered, The top gemstone is a large oval turquoise cabochon, bezel set, banded by notched silver, and the lower tier is 40 round cut turquoises, claw set in two bands, one wider and lower set than the first, so that the domed effect is complete. These are also banded in the same notched silver border. The whole (30mm long by 22mm wide) ring head is supported by a domed silver cage that has holes beneath each gemstone, to allow light to pass through. The turquoise has a slight green/browny marbled cast to it; each stone slightly different, as these are real natural gemstones. They have been gently polished into raised round cabochons. The silver is all sterling silver as indicated by the 925 hallmark on the underneath. Very heavy at 12,14 grams, this piece is big, bold and Bohemian! Stunning on the hand!
