WE HAVE CHOSEN NOT TO CLEAN THIS MAGNIFICENT RARE SET AS THE PETINA ADDS TO THE CHARACTER AND CHARM OF IT. EVANS AND MATTHEWS ESTABLISHED THEMSELVES IN 1872. FROM MY RESEARCH I CAN PUT THIS SET IN THE LATE 1800'S TO EARLY 1900'S AS THEY WERE IN BULL STREET TILL 1923. THERE IS UNFORTUNATELY A KNIFE MISSING, BUT THAT DOES NOT DETRACT FROM THIS AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL SET.
