MAGNIFICENT VINTAGE ROYAL DOULTON FIGURINE OF PUPPY LICKING DISH. MADE IN ENGLAND. FROM THE CHARACTER COLLECTION H N 1158 BY CECIL ALDIN. MADE OF FINE BONE CHINA. IT IS SHAPED TO LOOK LIKE A JACK RUSSELL TERRIER WHO IS WHITE IN COLOUR WITH BLACK AND LIGHT BROWN SPOTS ALL OVER IT. HE IS BENDING DOWN AND TIPPING A BOWL OF FOOD, HIS PINK TONGUE IS VISIBLE. HE CAN BE DATED BACK TO APPROXIMATELY 1937 TO 1988. ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PLATE YOU CAN FIND THE "ROYAL DOULTON MADE IN ENGLAND H N. 1158" MARKING IN GREEN. THERE ARE NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR SCRATCHES. MANS BEST FRIEND SEEMS TO BE IN PREFECT CONDITION. IT MEASURES APPROXIMATELY 117 MM LONG, 50 MM WIDE AND 80 MM LONG. IT IS AN ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE COLLECTORS PIECE!
