MALA STRETCH BRACELET
The mala, or Japa mala, is a string of beads that is used like a rosary to count the number of times that a mantra is recited. This process is known in Sanskrit as "Japa". The main purpose of the mala is so that the user can focus on the meaning or the sound of the mantra and not the counting of repetitions.
The 'guru' bead in this mala bracelet is Haematite. Haematite is a stone of healing, grounding, meditation, stabilisation and protection. It serves to enhance the memory and stimulates deep thought. It is for this reason that it is known as the ‘stone for the mind’, helping to sort out troubling issues on one’s mind. It is also a good stone to increase confidence and gets rid of self limiting concepts and enables one to reach one’s full potential.
The bracelet's is made with 18 mala beads and an amethyst 'guru' bead and is approximately 17 cm long and is made with stretch material.
