Malabar spinach is a fine that produces medium sized green leaves. They can be enjoyed fresh in salads, delicious on sandwiches with its slight purple colour. You can also steam them. They grow prolifically and grow very well in containers. Pretty and delicious. The seeds have a bit of flesh around that taste like little beetroots.
Sow in spring or summer and enjoy leaves and berries all summer long.
