A framed print of a typical impression of the fishing cottages found along the Eastern Cape shoreline. Malachi Smith signature and numbered (in pencil), can be seen on the bottom left corner of the picture.

Malachi (Malcolm) Smith was born in 1948, and died last year after a heart attack on June 29, 2012. He was a grand master artist, and went under the name Zhara Yahkov as his nom de guerre, for some time. His art career spanned over 50 years, and it has earned a reputation of high international respect.
