Malach (Malcolm) Smith was born in 1948, and died last year after a heart attack on June 29, 2012. He was a grand master artist, and went under the name Zhara Yahkov as his nom de guerre, for some time. His art career spanned over 50 years, and it has earned a reputation of high international respect.
