MALE Q/C X MALE 1/8" BSP THREADING

Aluminium male Q/C piece w/ male 1/8" BSP bushing.

Has a pleasant refractive sheen, the entirety of this product is rounded off well, w/ no machining residue such as machining curls. Unlike brass connector bits, this part won't turn to a darker / filthy colour after some time of use and likewise, will not corrode as readily as brass does and likewise, is capable of handling more battering / rough use compared to brass.

This connector is not supplied with any PTFE seal rings or dowty washers, the latter of which we do stock - you can find the search keyword below. You'll need one of the two aforementioned to create an airtight seal between a male and female threaded coupling - PTFE / plumber's tape can generate an airtight seal, although it is not recommended as it can damage the threading, especially once the threads start to crank down w/ tool tightening onto the tape. a Dowty washer fits onto the threading and is clammed between the two hex drives of the respective parts. The inner rubber ring will create the airtight seal.

Please note that this part DOES NOT feature any non-return valve inserts and nor is it compatible with such, as the male thread bush does not feature female threading.

We like these bits as they are very well priced and offers a long working life - we use these fittings in the shop as well for our shop use HPA compressor and they do perform better than the fittings that alot of these 240v and 12v compressors come with standard.
