Cable used to convert older generation power supplies for newer graphics cards.
This cable converts 1 x Sata Power connection into 1 x 6-pin PCI-E power connection used on some graphics cards. Suitable for connecting PCIe Cards from NVIDIA and ATI with older Power Supply which does not have 6-pin PCIe Connector.
Power conversion cables NOT recommended for GPU Mining due to cards requiring power above nominal power draw and no power supplied via direct PCIE x16 Slot due to risers used and cables will overheat and melt in the long term. Physical Damage on incorrect cable usage on a graphics card needing too many watts above the cable maximum watts will not be replaced under warranty.
Please check your Graphics Card TDP / Watts Max Usage : If above the rated cable power do not use the cable conversion and buy another power supply.
This Cable will provide up to 54 Watts via the SATA Power connector to 6pin and will draw up to 75 Watt from the PCI Express x16 Slot. THIS IS NOT THE CASE WHEN USING A PCIe Riser and Cable and power required when using a PCIe Riser for Mining will cause cable to run too hot and melt.
Common Graphics Cards Nominal Wattages (Excluding Overclocking wattages, if overclocked cards will use more power) –DO NOT USE THE CARD WITH THE CABLE IF IT EXCEEDS WATTS ABOVE on the specific setup.
