This painting was inspired by a recent visit to the Clarens district. It had rained and the veld showed signs of new growth with green grass and veld flowers making their appearance. With a backdrop of the mighty Maluti Mountains, I thought it would make a beautiful painting. The style of the painting is impressionistic, the paint thickly applied with a painting knife. This is an original oil painting of high standard. A certificate of authenticity will be supplied with the painting.
