The original silver medal to commemorate the award of the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize to Nelson Mandela. Produced by the Royal Norwegian Mint in 2001. Proof stuck in sterling silver (medal marked 925 S). Diameter 39mm. Contains 1 troy oz of silver. Twin set mintage 5000. Subsequent re-strikes exist and are packaged differently and some of these are underweight. This one is original (Good coin not included)
