Two-way "pan & tilt" heads are favoured for video work and are built to be used "open" (i.e. with movements not locked off). Head features such as fluid cartridges (which provide resistance to jarring and shake transmitted from the operator to the camera via the pan bar) keep camera movements as controlled and smooth as possible. Our video heads offer a range of friction and counterbalance systems to regulate the weight shift of heavy equipment.
