Map Print of Africa

On offer this very nice map print of Africa, based on ancient maps, with pictures of people and places on the borders. I dont recognise the language it is written in, but it looks Latin to me. It measures 40.5cm x 51cm. The heading at the top: "AFRICAE, nova Tabula, Aud Jud Hondio". It is framed in a wooden and gilded frame, behind glass and has a single mounting with line decoration. I haven't taken the map out of its frame but it looks like it is printed on a textured paper. All in good condition with no damage to report.

Lovely piece for that "olde worlde" charm!!!
