MAPPIN WEBB BONE HANDELED CUTLERY WITH LOVELY MONOGRAM OF "H"

This lovely set has such a Olde Colonial feel to it.  Made by Mappin Webb one of the very best of British silversmiths it has certainly stood the test of time with no loose blades or prongs to the handles as is usual of lesser made cutlery of the time. I don't think it was made of real bone but rather from early bakelite or French Ivory as it was called then.  In a good used condition the only other thing to mention is that we have six knifes to only five forks.
