authenticity guarantees the quality and content of this product and also guarantees that
this product was manufactured by the South African Mint Company.
The 2005 pure gold ¿Cultural¿ coin depicts the now famous Mapungubwe Rhino relic. This rhino, though made from wood which has now perished, was skillfully covered with a pure gold foil that was meticulously tacked with tiny gold nails. The coin also portrays iron-age gold beads which were used for adornment and bartering.
