Seriously beautiful, very unique colors, pink purple. Large fruit. One of my favorites.
Created in the beautifulĀ Mediterranean climateĀ ofĀ Ā (link in Spanish), the Mar azul (in Spanish,Ā blue sea) gets its particularly unusual purple-blue color due to the significant amount ofĀ anthocyaninsĀ Ā Ā that give some fruit/berries their red, blue, purple, or black color.
Due to the anthocyanins, thisĀ tomateĀ is evenĀ Ā (one that supports the immune and nervous system); it was also one of the most delicious foods I have ever eaten.
Devote a prime, sunny spot to growing tomatoes. Tomatoes need at least 6 to 8 hours of sun to bring out their best flavors. You will need to stake, trellis, or cage most tomato plants to keep them off the ground. Decide on a support plan before you set out your plants, then add that support directly after planting.
