Flitter Fairies create a special bond to their human friends using "unseen" Pixie Silk woven from the spirits of Shadow Fairies...this enables them to fly. There is a ultra-thin line (called Pixie Silk) attached between a clip that goes on the human and a clip that is on the Flitter Fairy, then you use the wand under the line to move the Fairy (her wings flap using battery power).
