For absorbent. A fantastic way to turn your craft scraps into Magically Marbled works of art. 100% The crystals/powder are dissolved in water and acts as a fixative. You have to treat you papers/ fabrics with a mordant crystal solution. Your beautiful prints will simply wash off or appear dull if you skip this step!  You MUST pre-treat your materials, so that the paint, floating on the gel, in the marbling tray, will stick to the surface fibers of the material that you are marbling on upon contact.
The Mordant Crystals come with instructions & a sponge to apply to paper.
