Mark Knopfler - All The Road Running (CD)

For the past seven years, Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris have been quietly compiling a treasure trove of duets. The result was ALL THE ROADRUNNING. Co-producing with Chuck Ainlay, Knopfler shares his electric, acoustic and slide playing with guitarist Richard Bennett. The other musicians in the line-up are; Jim Cox and Guy Fletcher keyboards, Glen Duncan fiddle and mandolin, Dan Dugmore steel, Glen Worf bass and Chad Cromwell and Danny Cummins drums. A multiple Grammy award winner, as the lead singer/songwriter of Dire Straits, Mark Knopfler has produced records for Bob Dylan and Randy Newman as well as scoring several. Emmylou Harris is an eleven-time Grammy winner and Billboard Century Award recipient who has made great contributions as a vocalist, songwriter and influential figure with her work. She has recorded more than 20 albums and lent her talents to fellow artists on countless records.
