The MB CMD 151 GOG (Grandfather of Gospel) combo features his new signature amp Little AG 58R, built to suit his requirements for both sound and playing style.
Just like the other amps in our 58R range, the amp new design features all the connections and controls on the front panel leaving only the speaker outs and AC power socket on the rear panel, offering optimal ergonomics and making everything more practical. This is one of the best-sounding and compact 1x15" combo on the market. The amp sends out 300W of power through a single Markbass custom neodymium speaker and paired piezo tweeter (with the option of up to 500W when using an extension speaker). Its solid-state preamp provides a warm and natural sound.
The complete 5 Band EQ from ULTRALOW to HIGH is very effective, and the LIMITER control delivers a range of responses from modern right back to the old generation.

Thanks to his exceptional music production experience and finely tuned musical ear, the development process was rapid and precise. With Andrew's deep knowledge of what makes a great bass sound, we customised frequency choices based on his direction and he stamped it with his seal of approval "Finally I have MY sound!".

WARM, TRUE-TO-THE-SOURCE SOUND
This combo's 15" speaker gives a pleasant low-mid emphasis perfectly suited to gospel, blues, roots music and more. Fifteen-inch speakers while sounding large,can sound shapeless and lack definition... however our custom 15s display impressive clarity when compared to other 15" speakers, and this combo's piezo tweeter blends high end sparkle up to 18 kHz.
Limiter Control
This dedicated limiter control shines bright with a modern amp experience when fully dialled in. In contrast when set to zero it delivers an "old generation"response along with the typical distortion you can get when limiter effects are really low. Naturally a full range can be selected with everything in-between to craft your own individual amplifier characteristic response.
FSW MUTE / EQ ON/OFF
Featured on the front panel of the LITTLE AG 58R combo head is a convenient mute switch. In addition with an optional dual footswitch (FSW) you can remotely toggle the mute function, and also turn the EQ section on/off.
