Marklin HO 30000 BR89 Shunter. Read carefully!

Lol, this is not the one I called a drolstoter elsewhere........ Close, but not really. Here is why. The older 30000 had the Delta circuit. Which meant it could not crawl, had absolutely dreadful slow speed characteristics, and was noisy as hell. I dare you to try this one. This is the latest one, now fitted with a FX decoder, and it is fully programmable from the controller. So much better than the starterset ones. I had it on the teststand, set the acceleration/brake delay, and it is beautifully smooth and quiet. Yes, quiet. No more KAKAKAKAKAKLIKKLIKKAKA poef!!!!away over the horizon. The old ones either stood still, or buggered off at max speed. This will crawl. Which is what a shunter needs, and finally Marklin listened.

I am impressed. It has triple headlights infront with painted rear ones. At the price, this is understandable. At the price, this is a bloody honest little loco.
