This item is in a box which was for model 3000, but these figures have been erased and the number 3029 written in.

I don't actually know what the difference between the two are, but it fits into the box beautifully.

The number on the front of the tender is 89028. I have been reliable advised that this engine is number 3000 manufactured between 1954-59. This box was not the actual box that the item came in originally.

I have tested the item, and when a voltage is applied to the power rail the lights go on, and the wheels turn.

If you examine the power rail you can see that there has been some friction on it.

Inside the box, it says that it was manufactured in January 1965, but as this is not the original box, I doubted that this is correct. Upon checking the web it appears that 1965, is reasonable accurate.

Please add R 30.00 for P&P.
