Marlboro-McLaren MP4-4 - 1988 World Champion - Senna - Minichamps 1/18

Striking Minichamps model of the 1988 Championship winning Senna McLaren-Honda MP4-4. This car provided Senna with his first championship after a season long tussle with his teammate, Alain Prost.

The model is upgraded with full Marlboro livery.

The MP4-4 was designed by South African, Gordon Murray, and followed on from his Brabham BT55 design in being super low-line with the driver in a pronounced lying position. This was made possible by the small 1.5 litre Honda turbo-charged engine.

One of the most iconic F1 cars, this car won 15/16 races and led every lap bar 28 in 1988!
