A Halfpenny Token from Marsh & Sons of Cape Town in VF condition and SCARCE.  One of the earlier South African Tokens, struck sometime before 1875.  Reference: G.P. Theron, Tokens of Southern Africa and their History.  A similar "Marsh" token was issued for Hobart, Australia.
