Madagascar is an American animated film in 3D produced by Dreamworks Animation. The film is about four animals in Central Park zoo, New York, (Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Gloria the hippopotamus and Melman the Giraffe, who have spent their whole lives in captivity and who, following a series of coincidences, end up back in the wild on the island of Madagascar. There they discover that life in the wild is not how they imagined it would be
