Marula must be one of Africa's most loved fruits. So easy and low maintenance. You do need some space though as they become massive trees. Unless you devote your time each spring to trim it to size so it doesn't get out of hand.
The seeds germinate in sandy soil. Just guard your seeds whilst germinating as many animals find them irresistible and will dig them out.
Transplant the seedling when it is around 15cm tall. Make sure that you provide loose soil for the roots to spread and add some bone meal to encourage root growth.
