SCARCE BATCH OF 15 VINTAGE MARX "DISNEYKINS" FIGURINES.
DISNEYKINS ARE A UNIQUE BRAND OF MINIATURE HAND PAINTED PLASTIC FIGURES MANUFACTURED BY THE MARX TOY COMPANY FROM 1961 TO 1973.
THE 15 FIGURINES INCLUDE:
SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS. The seven dwarfs names are Happy, Doc, Grumpy, Dopey, Bashful, Sleepy and Sneezy. HAPPY, DOC AND DOPEY HAS TWO FIGURINES OF EACH.
Minnie Mouse the longtime sweetheart of Mickey Mouse.
Geppetto, the elderly, impoverished woodcarver and creator of Pinocchio.
Jiminy Cricket the "Talking Cricket", in the Adventures of Pinocchio.
Dumbo, an elephant who has enormous ears, is always ridiculed.
ORIGINAL GOLD FOIL STICKERS ON SOME: HAPPY, SNEEZY AND DUMBO STILL HAS THERE GOLD STICKERS INDICATING THEIR AUTHENTICITY.

DISNEYKINS: Disneykins are a unique brand of miniature hand painted plastic figures manufactured by the Marx Toy Company from 1961 to 1973.
Made of injection molded hard plastic and hand-painted by artists in British Hong Kong, each Disneykin figure was a perfectly packaged miniature masterpiece.
The Louis Marx Toy Company manufactured Disneykins from 1961 right up to the companys demise in 1972-3. By the end of the line, the Marx Company had produced a large number of completely different Disneykins and Disneykin lines, with a total of over 160 figures at last count. Basically, Marx made a Disneykin representation of nearly every major character in a Disney animated film that was released (or re-released) during that twelve-year period.
When combined, the original 1961 First Series of 34 figures (the most common Disneykins) and the rarer 36 Second Series figures (called New Disneykins) feature the all major cartoon stars of the Disney films of that decade.
