Hand carved from solid wood in the typical style of the Maasai (Masai) tribal people. These tribal figurines have become very collectible by African lovers.
 
The Maasai (Masai) Mare tribesmen are a well known African tribe that are known for their strange trance like ritual that the warriors do before doing into the battle. The tribesmen will stand together in a line and strange to chant while jumping in the same position. This they can do for a very long time and it almost places the warrior in a trace before battle.
 
Masai women are equally extraordinarily strong: they build homes, chop trees for firewood, walk seven hours a day to fetch water.
