MASSIVE lot of 242 old Jan van Riebeeck Banknotes found in an old plastic bin

The vendor found this huge lot of old South African banknotes crammed into a plastic container. The notes date from the 1950s to about 1990. When I took them out of the bin, some bundles still had their paper clips attached. The notes are all used and many saw extensive circulation (fold marks, tears, missing ears, pen marks, etc. etc.)

I sorted them into the following denominations.

4) 16 x De Jongh R1 (A series)

5) 79 x De Jongh R1 (B series)

6) 2 x Rissik R2

7) 3 x De Jongh R2

8) 46 x Gerhard de Kock R2 notes including three W (replacement) notes

9) 51 x Chris Stals R2 notes including six WW (replacement) notes

10) TW de Jongh R5 note

11) 41 x TW de Jongh R10 notes including three W (replacement) notes and two notes following in serial number order.
