Matchbox Lesney 32A Jaguar XK140

The Jag XK140 was added to the range in 1957 and deleted in 1962. All the earlier releases are shades of white - pure white, though off white to almost cream. These will have mostly metal wheels with some later white releases having grey plastic wheels. The colour was changed later in the production run to red. Early ones were sprayed red over white giving an orangey-red finish, later ones have a deeper red colour.

Look out red or orangey red (more desirable) and of the white ones look for plastic wheels.
