BG808L is an orchestra-shaped acoustic-electric guitar made by Maton Guitars from Australia. One of very characteristic traits of Maton models is the extensive use of Australian wood. Walnut, maple and other wood types which can be found in Australia are used for these guitars. BG808L in particular has a non-cutaway body made of Queensland walnut back and sides with Queensland spruce sound board on top. Top panel is equipped with ivory binding and black plastic pickguard. Rosette design is described by the manufacturer as being "mosaic". Bridge section on this model is equipped with a regular belly-shaped bridge made of rosewood.
Neck is made of Queensland maple and it`s attached to the body with a dovetail joint. Rosewood fingerboard has 21 frets.
