WHAT THE MATRIX: PATH OF NEO IS ABOUT
Atari sends players into the Matrix with MATRIX: PATH OF NEO for the PS2. PATH OF NEO allows players to play as Neo through a number of scenes from the movie trilogy, allowing fans of the movies to relive them and interact with the entire cast. The game covers events from all three movies, which means parts of the story are condensed into cutscenes taken from the actual films. Instead of playing through every part of the game, PATH OF NEO focuses on the big, spectacular moments. Players will learn to battle by fighting Morpheus in the martial arts battle from the first movie, fight off hundreds of Agent Smiths in the Matrix Reloaded park battle, and go up against the machines themselves in scenes from the final movie. Additionally, some original scenes and new battles are incorporated, adding a few surprises for players. PATH OF NEO is a fighting game, and Neo has many different powers at his disposal. He can punch, kick, use a number of weapons, and, as he accepts his destiny as the one, use the powers of the Matrix against his foes. Neo can locate hidden doors by viewing the Matrix in code form, use telekinesis to move objects without touching them, and even use the movie’s famous bullet time ability. MATRIX: PATH OF NEO puts players right in the middle of the biggest, most explosive scenes of the trilogy, giving Matrix fans the chance to feel like they’re in the Matrix themselves.
