**HORDAK**

- Hordak is a dark warlord from ancient Eternia who opposed King Grayskull, the original ruler of Castle Grayskull, with a massive army. The conflict ended when Hordak's attempt to draw Castle Grayskull into the dimension of Despondos was thwarted by King Grayskull, resulting in Hordak and his army being banished to the dark dimension instead.

- While trapped in Despondos, Hordak saved Keldor's life after his failed assassination attempt on the Eternian Elders. Hordak removed the damaged flesh from Keldors face, leaving his skull in a magical floating state, and renamed him Skeletor.

- Hordak later called upon Skeletor to free him from Despondos. Although initially appearing powerless against Hordak, Skeletor surprised Evil-Lyn and He-Man by destroying Hordak's Sanctuary, hoping to seal his former master away forever.

- Evil-Lyn and Count Marzo later attempted to free Hordak through different means, but He-Man destroyed the Well of Darkness, thwarting their plans. Hordak was also revealed to have created Eternia's Dark Hemisphere by performing the Spell of Separation.
