Maurice van Essche - original silkscreen signed in pencil by the artist

You are bidding on an original silkscreen (pencil signed) by Maurice van Essche (1960-1977) - part of his "Nude Studies" portfolio No 28.

It depicts a reclining female nude and is signed in pencil in the bottom right corner.   It is framed and it looks as though there is dust behind the glass - so could do with a clean.   There are two slight creases (one top right corner and the other almost centre bottom).  If required I could remove it from the frame for posting.

Maurice van Essche was born in Antwerp and settled in South Africa in 1940.   He became Professor of Fine Art at the university of Cape Town and was highly regarded as a South African artist.   He died in France in 1977.
