Holster for medium frame size automatic pistols, with a Picatinny rail under the barrel.

Key features on this holster;
• Plastic IWB belt clip - For carrying the pistol inside the waistband and thereby ensuring that the holster w/ the pistol won't fall down the trouser pipe
• Backstrap retention, stud-break - This is to retain the pistol in place and prevent it from coming out / jumping out of its own accord, especially w/ heavier pistols. The backstrap female part has an extended hard section that is easier to push and thereby, break the retention
• Triple bar retainer - This is affixed to the male webbing coupler, to allow the webbing to fit snug around the pistol's backstrap. This only features on the Inside-Out series of softshell holster.
• OWB belt loop - Measuring 50mm broad x 80mm high

This is a feature-rich lighter duty belt, featuring a full sized scabbard pocket to allow the slide, all the way to the lowest part on the trigger guard, to slip in, w/ minimal toe clearance at the frontal tip of the holster, where a vent hole can be found to circumvent perspiration on the firearm. The top section is reinforced, typically for when firearms would be hastily holstered and might exert against the spine, as that is a higher contact zone.
The trigger guard and by extension, the trigger, is fully shielded by this holster. The sides / main body of the holster is thickly padded for a nylon holster and there is clear evidence that extra stitching reinforcement has been applied to the higher stress points, such as the plastic clip retainer, the OWB strap, the double folds on the webbing where the studs are punched onto. The female stud webbing strapped is entirely double folded as well.
The entire boundary of this holster is webbing stitched, to prevent any of the stuffing / cut ends from oozing out / unthreading, and lends a professional finish to the holster.
We do find that the plastic clip remains nicer for longer and is sufficiently robust for the job. Metal clips tend to lose their anodizing / paint coat after some time.
This holster is really robust and does reflect the development of standards through trial and error, over the years of manufacturing tactical carrying / loadbearing supplies.
