Max is an adorable, fluffy little fellow (a hamster, possibly?) who first appeared as a comic strip in Punch (April 1952). This book contains a selection of the strips from the first ten years of his existence.

The book is in passable condition. The pages are lightly tanned, but unmarked save for a gift inscription on the title page. The binding is floppy and fragile but intact, save for one loose page (title page). Tears and paper loss on spine.

A rare find.
