MAX7219 LED DOT MATRIX MODULE FOR ARDUINO , PIC OR ARM

 

Product information
This is a brand new, high quality red LED dot matrix module that is driven by the MAX7219 common cathode display driver. One MAX7219 is commonly used to connect up to eight, seven segment displays to a microcontroller via the SPI protocol. It can also be used to connect a bar graph or 64 LED matrix display. A single MAX7219 module can drive one 8x8 common cathode LED matrix display. The modules facilitate daisy chaining to other LED matrix modules through connection of the MOSI of one unit to the MISO of another unit and so on.

NOTE! Please do not reverse the wiring to the VCC and GND pins or the IC would be destroyed.
