Product OverviewThe ICM7224IPL+ is a 4.5 digit, LCD, high speed counter/decoder/driver in 40 pinDIP package. The device has segment decoders, leading zero blanking, store andreset inputs and carry output that allows cascading of 8 or more digits. TheICM7224 directly drives a non multiplexed liquid crystal display (LCD). Thiscounter operates with input from DC to 25MHz while using only 10µA of supplycurrent. A schmitt trigger on the count input ensures reliable operation innoisy environments and in applications with slowly varying inputs.
